Gene Expression Analysis from Tumour Samples

Epistem is able to conduct gene expression analysis of primary tumour cells including fresh frozen biopsy tissue and formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) or laser captured microdissected (LCM) tissue samples. Epistem is also able to conduct gene expression analysis from a variety of different biopsy techniques samples including:

1. Fine Needle Aspiration
2. Core Needle Biopsy
3. Large-core Biopsy
4. Open Surgical Biopsy

Assessments we can conduct

1. Microarray Assessments:

• Custom Arrays containing multiple probe sets for all specified genes or pathways of interest
• Optional inclusion of the entire human, mouse or rat genome

2. qPCR analysis:

• Any specified genes of interest
• Each primer set designed and QC'ed by Epistem

3. Information from our proprietary PathwayDirect™ database containing extensive information on samples analysed by Epistem.
