Gene Expression Analysis from FFPE and LCM Samples

Epistem is able to conduct gene expression analysis on cells isolated from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue and laser captured microdissected (LCM) samples.

Our experts have developed highly sensitive proprietary techniques for the analysis of these samples and will provide scientific input to guide customers when planning FFPE and LCM studies to ensure optimal gene expression profiling.

Assessments we can conduct

1. Microarray Assessments:

• Custom Arrays containing multiple probe sets for all specified genes or pathways of interest
• Optional inclusion of the entire human, mouse or rat genome

2. qPCR analysis

• Any specified genes or pathways of interest
• Each primer set designed and QC'ed by Epistem

3. Information from our proprietary PathwayDirect™ database containing extensive information on samples analysed by Epistem.
