Gene Expression Analysis from Blood Samples

Epistem is able to conduct gene expression analysis on cells isolated from blood. These cells could either be entire Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cell (PBMCs) populations or fractionated cell populations.

Epistem is also able to fractionate blood samples prior to conducting gene expression analysis information using two different techniques:

• Immuno-affinity enrichment of specific cell populations using magnetic bead separation techniques
• Fluorescent Activated Cell Sorting (FACS)

Alternatively we can provide assistance to enable you to provide samples for analysis at Epistem.

Assessments we can conduct

1. Microarray Assessments:

• Custom Arrays containing multiple probe sets for all specified genes or pathways of interest
• Optional inclusion of the entire human, mouse or rat genome

2. qPCR analysis:

• Any specified genes of interest
• Each primer set designed and QC'ed by Epistem

3. Gene expression information also available from Epistem's PathwayDirect™ database.
