Gene Expression Analysis from Biological Samples and Tissue

Epistem is able to conduct gene expression analysis from a number of different biological samples and tissue types. Epistem has years of experience of RNA analysis from a wide variety of samples. The range of samples that are compatible with Epistem gene expression analysis include:

• Single plucked hairs
• Whole blood and fractionated PBMCs
• Lavage
• Sputum
• CSF

Tissue and cellular samples:

• Biopsies
• Tissue extracts
• FFPE and LCM samples
• Single Cells
• Cell culture extracts

Epistem will also provide scientific input on sample collection and data analysis procedures.

Assessments we can conduct

1. Microarray Assessments:

• Custom Arrays containing multiple probe sets for all specified genes or pathways of interest
• Optional inclusion of the entire human, mouse or rat genome

2. qPCR analysis:

• Any specified genes or pathways of interest
• Each primer set designed and QC'ed by Epistem

3. Information from our proprietary PathwayDirect™ database containing extensive information on samples analysed by Epistem.
