Epistem RNA-Amp™ Kits

Epistem RNA-Amp™ kits are the latest advancement in next generation cDNA amplification for gene expression analysis of tissue and RNA. Our kits provide a highly sensitive, reproducible and user friendly approach to sample preparation for gene expression analysis. Each kit incorporates a proprietary combination of components to amplify cDNA which reproducibly reflects the input RNA providing an essential tool in gene expression profiling, especially from very small biological or clinical samples.

Our kits have many benefits over traditional amplification kits currently on the market including:

  • Our amplification kits offer over a 1000 fold increase in sensitivity compared to standard commercial kits
  • Able to provide gene expression information from samples as small as 1-200 cells (down to 10 pg RNA)
  • A 'one tube' system: No multiple purification steps, rapid processing, compatible with robotic sample preparation
  • Suitable for microdissected tissues, whole blood, FACS sorted cells, needle biopsies and single plucked hairs
  • Can be used quantitatively using RTqPCR and DNA microarray platforms
  • Compatible with microarray platforms that include Agilent, Affymetrix, Illumina and Next Generation Sequencing
