PathwayDirect™ Database

Databases

Epistem offers access to its proprietary PathwayDirect™ Database, containing extensive biomarker gene expression data for major disease pathways including:

  • Notch
  • Pi3 kinase
  • EGFR signalling
  • Hedgehog
  • WNT/B-catenin
  • Androgen and Estrogen signalling
  • cMET
  • Inflammation pathways
  • Neurological pathways
  • Metabolic pathways

Each pathway gene panel has been constructed to minimise de novo biomarker research, and offers a means of accelerating biomarker studies in cancer, central nervous system and inflammatory disease at the mRNA level.

Epistem’s gene panels can be used to guide the selection of a specific biomarker gene set and from our internal databases we can advise on the choice of surrogate tissue. The PathwayDirect™ Database contains gene expression information we have compiled from healthy normal volunteer samples and our own data from clinical and preclinical studies. In addition to assisting in identifying drug PD markers each pathway panel can be used to confirm drug mechanism of action and can also potentially be used for patient stratification.
